Filter Separators
CJC™ Filter Separators are off-line oil filtration systems / oil separators, combining fine filtration with water separation all in one unit, with an integrated circulating pump. They are designed for use in applications containing hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, lubrication oil, etc., in which water ingress is a constant or recurrent problem. CJC™ Filter Separators remove water by coalescence and at the same time minimize oil contamination levels of particles and oil degradation products (oxidation resin/sludge, varnish).
The CJC™ depth filters have a filtration degree of 3 microns absolute and a very large dirt-holding capacity. This, combined with efficient and continuous water removal from the oil, provides numerous benefits including reduced maintenance, increased productivity, and maximum lifetime of system components, in-line filters and oil.
The modular Filter Separators are built and sized to specific customer requirements - whether the oil volume is 2 litres or 200,000 litres. CJC™ Filter Separators ensure trouble-free operation of marine hydraulics, marine diesel fuel systems, steam turbine lube systems and water-cooled hydraulic industry equipment.

PTU 15/12 Compact Filter Separator
PTU 15/12 is a compact filter separator for maintaining clean oil and dry oil, such as: diesel oils, hydraulic oils, gear oils and food grade oils with a specific weight lower than that of water.
The filter is a 3-micron absolute filter with a high dirt-holding capacity and a cellulose-based filter insert that removes particles, retains oil degradation products (oxidation, resin/sludge, varnish), and separates free water from the oil. The PTU 15/12 is available in one size only with one filter insert. This compact filter can be delivered in either aluminium or composite.

PTU 15/25 Hydraulic
PTU 15/25 Hydraulic is an off-line oil filtration system combining continuous water separation and oil filtration and is used for: hydraulic oils, lube oils, gear oils and turbine lube oils. PTU 15/25 removes water, particles and oil degradation products (oxidation, resin/sludge, varnish). PTU 15/25 Filter Separator is equipped with manual water discharge and is available in a range of design configurations including preheaters, drip pans, and control boxes. The pressure drop can be monitored on a pressure gauge on top of the filter. The PTU 15/25 Hydraulic uses one CJC™ Filter Insert BLA 15/25 plus a separate secondary coalescer element.
Special Feature
Retrofit of HDU 15/25 turning it into a PTU 15/25. As the HDU 15/25 is designed as a modular system, it is possible to turn a HDU 15/25 into a PTU 15/25 by retrofitting the separate coalescer housing and changing the insert type to BLA 15/25. This process changes the water separation method from absorption to coalescing, which is suitable for larger amounts of water and resulting in a reduction of maintenance costs!

PTU 15/25 Diesel
PTU 15/25 Diesel is an off-line oil filtration system, combining continuous water separation with oil filtration and is used for light distillates i.e.: marine diesel (MDO), marine gas oil (MGO) and marine special distillates (MSD).
The PTU 15/25 Diesel removes water, particles, and oil degradation products (oxidation, resin/sludge, varnish). PTU 15/25 Filter Separator is equipped with manual water discharge. It is available in a range of design configurations including preheaters, drip pans, and control boxes. The pressure drop can be monitored on a pressure gauge on top of the filter.
PTU 15/25 Diesel uses one CJC™ Filter Insert F 15/25 and a separate secondary coalescer element.

PTU1 27/- Diesel
PTU1 27/- are off-line oil filtration systems, combining continuous water separation with oil filtration and are used for diesel oils and gas oils to remove water, particles, and oil degradation products (oxidation, resin/sludge, varnish). PTU1 27/- Filter Separators are available with either automatic or manual water discharge. Filter Separators with automatic water discharge have a control box for monitoring as standard. Pressure drops can be monitored on a pressure gauge on top of the filter. They are also equipped with electric pressure guards.
PTU1 27/- Filter Separators are available in sizes 27/54, 27/81 and 27/108, using 2, 3, or 4 CJC™ Filter Inserts fitted in the same filter housing. Available in a range of design
configurations including preheaters, drip pans, tanks, and control boxes.

PTU2 27/27 Hydraulic
PTU2 27/27 Hydraulic is an off-line oil filtration system, combining continuous water separation with oil filtration and is used for hydraulic oils, turbine lubrication oils and gear oils, removing water, particles, and oil degradation products (oxidation, resin/sludge, varnish). The PTU2 27/27 Filter Separator is available with either automatic or manual water discharge. Filter Separators with automatic water discharge have a control box for monitoring as standard. Pressure drops can be monitored on a pressure gauge on top of the filter. They are also equipped with electric pressure guards.

PTU2 Thruster
PTU2 Thruster Filter is an off-line oil filtration system for thruster oil - a version in the PTU2 27/27 series. This filter is purpose-designed for maintaining dry and clean gear oil in marine thrusters, stern tubes etc. PTU2 Thruster Filter is a Filter Separator for off-line installation and combines continuous water separation with oil filtration, removing water, particles, and oil degradation products (oxidation, resin/sludge, varnish). The PTU2 27/27 Filter Separator is available with either automatic or manual water discharge. Filter Separators with automatic water discharge have a control box for monitoring as standard. Pressure drops can be monitored on a pressure gauge on top of the filter. They are also equipped with electric pressure guards.

PTU3 27/ Filter Separators are available with either automatic or manual water discharge. Filter Separators with automatic water discharge have a control box for monitoring as standard. Pressure drops can be monitored on a pressure gauge on top of the filter. They are also equipped with electric flow switch.
The PTU3 27/- series come in the sizes 27/54, 27/81 and 27/108 using 2, 3, or 4 CJC™ Filter Inserts, plus 1 CJC™ Separator Element. They are available in a range of design

PTU3 Multistay
The PTU3 Multistay series includes offline oil filtration systems with 2, 3 or more PTU3 27/- Filter Separators mounted on a common drain tank base. They are used for large-volume fluid systems where water ingress is a recurrent problem, e.g., turbine lubrication systems in power generation plants, on paper machine lubrication systems, in steel mills and in mining systems. The Filter Separators removes water, particles, and oil degradation products (oxidation, resin/sludge, varnish). Available with automatic water discharge and a control box. Pressure drops can be monitored on a pressure gauge on top of the filter. They are also equipped with electric flow switch.
PTU3 Multistays are available in sizes PTU3 2 x 27/-, PTU3 3 x 27/- and more stays depending on the required oil capacity. Available in a range of design configurations
including preheaters, drip pans, tanks, and control boxes.
